solar powered humidity and temperature senor with 433 MHz transmitter
This Python script calculates the estimated time required to charge a 12-volt car battery using a solar panel. It considers the solar panel's power, the battery's capacity, and the system's overall efficiency to provide an estimated charging time.
The IoT EcoBoard v3 is microcontroler based on the processor ATSAMD21G18 ARM Cortex M0 at 48Mhz with 3V3 logic, as the Arduino Zero. The chip has 256K of FLASH and 32K of RAM. It's fully compatible with Arduino and Adafruit libraries.
Developed an ensemble voting model that included Random Forests, Linear Regression, Orthogonal Matching Pursuit, and Gradient Boosting Regressor to predict future solar power generated by a solar plant in India at 98.7% accuracy. Placed 1st at the Virginia Tech Computational Modeling & Data Analytics Fall 2022 Data Competition.
