Hi,
I'm new here, I just saw samples, I want to achieve a python script that allows me to read some 2D dxf that I'm generating using python, they are basically random holes on a sheet, and want to automate the creation of a simple 3d render of the sheet with holes, something like this one below:

demo

It can be done? how difficult it could be? Can I open/import the 2D dxf file or I need to convert it to a different 3D filetype previously?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, I'm downloading Panda3D and trying to setup RenderPipeline too, I have some problems, it says:

[ 01 ] Checking Panda3D Modules

Could not import Panda3D modules! Please make sure they are
on your path, and you are using the correct python version!

Setup failed: Failed to import Panda3D modules
Please fix the above errors and then restart the setup.

Ok, installed Panda3D-SDK-1.10.0-69d2499-MacOSX10.6-py3.5.dmg and now it says:

ERROR: Compute shaders not supported! Please update your driver, or get a newer gpu.

I am using Python 2.7.14
Should I try with Python3 ?

What gpu do you have? It looks like either your driver is outdated, or your gpu is too old

I'm running it on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015), it has Intel Iris Graphics 6100 1536 MB

@tobspr Forget about the error, I will try it on another computer with Windows, it should work fine.

Can I get in touch with you in some chat or something more dynamic? I wan't to ask you some questions about #95 (comment), It can be done somethink like that, right?

Thanks.
