For cases where a modeler decides to specify new variables / levers or change the range/categories of existing levers, the experiment design could leverage the model runs already completed and identify a set of experiments that is smaller than it would be if no previous experiments were run.
For example: scope A
variable 1, distributed from 0 to 1;
variable 2 distributed from 0 to 10
=> 20 experiments in LHS design
scope A
variable 1, distributed from 0 to 1;
variable 2 distributed from 0 to 10
variable 3 distributed from 0 to 1
=> 30 experiments in LHS design
could be fewer?
