Pasting a group reference in gallery doesn't work as expected #198

Describe the bug, optionally with screenshots

When pasting a group link into a gallery, I would expect to paste it in group. If the behavior is different, we need better guides in the UI.
When editing a gallery post with a reference, my reference is deleted and I cannot no matter how much I edit it get the reference to return.
There is a weird bug where upon editing a gallery post to add a reference it does not save, but saves in the input box.

Expected behavior
I would expect:

Reference links to be considered a link.
That I could give my gallery post a title without removing the ref link.
That the ref link would show in the text input box in the edit gallery post view.
That the ref link would save upon edit.

Newer versions of Groups seem to have improved this quite a bit!

Pasting group references now looks like this:
