HI,
The powermetrics output seems to accumulate in a /tmp file at about 1 MB per minute. This is not mentioned and if the monitor is left running long term is there any tidy up periodically?
The file remained after I stopped the run....
Could it be written to and read from a named pipe or similar maybe? (Both space use and SSD "wear" issues.)
Nice work though!
THANKS!~

PS this is M1 mini running Sonoma, 14.2.1
I get single (tall) bars per category (CPU, GPU, ANE etc) and
NO info about memory bandwidth totals or per processing type as per image in README since Apple remov ed the data fropm powermetrics, that seems a shame. I can't find any clue as to why!
Readme does not mention the default sample interval, I assume it is 1 sec?
There IS power usage estimates per processor type.

brew install graelo/tap/pumas
does a similar job and uses pipes I think. That interface is not quite as clear.
