Cannot remove phone number any longer

If you enter a phone number without verifying it and try to save it says "Preferences not changed". It seems like verification is a requirement even though there's nothing obvious that it is a requirement.

Also if you want to erase a number that was previously verified and save there's no way to do this. When the number is erased and Save is pressed it says "Preferences not changed". Previous version would save no matter what. I think this should still be the default behavior that verification is optional.

To Repeat

• Enter a valid number
• Click a One-time phone code
• Enter the code received
• Try to erase the number
• Press save

There's no way to remove the number, you have to use a newly validated number. You also cannot save an unvalidated number.
