Setting defaults for the app

Is it possible to set app defaults for this library?

For example;
setting a default offset for it to work,
setting a default error or initial image

I know it is easily doable using a component, which I already tried out.

But, for people adopting it later on, it is troublesome to shift images into components since refactoring css into the component from outside can be too much work.
