Swig bingings for Virgil ? #45

Allowing Python, Java, (etc etc) teams to drop to Virgil for functions is a key incremental strategy for converting larger projects, and indeed the developers too. A bottom-up world take over .. or pick your own lofty claim.

Hi Paul,

That's a cool idea. Just off the top of my head, the Virgil compiler will need some adjustments to generate .o (or .so) files for linking (or dynamic linking), as it currently generates statically-linked ELF files. It'll need some adjustments to the symbol table to export symbols. I recently added symbol table support for debugging with gdb, so this probably within reach.
