Description of the feature
Be able to backup a oracle database.

Benftits of feature
Oracle is part of the database landscape, one tool to backup each kind of database, oracle included, would be great.

Do you have any command line examples on how to backup:

  • database on a remote host
  • all databases on a remote host

Yes, here is a script i wrote to do a such backup:
https://github.com/abes-esr/oracle-db-backup/blob/main/oracle-db-backup.sh
It uses thé expdp oracle cmd.
