Read messages are still shown as unread in notifications

Describe the bug
if a new message arrives and is read through Chats window, notification badge still shows new messages, unless I click on different chat in a chat window. If I display chat window only, messages are not set as read. It should be at least configurable, that actually displayed chat log reads all new messages automatically if they have been displayed.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Put icon to the dock.
2. Let new message arrive.
3. Click on icon in dock (it shows new message)
4. Chat window pops
5. Contact message is displayed
6. 'New message' badge is still shown on dock icon.
7. If I click on another chat/contact, message is 'read'.

Expected behavior
No need to click to another chat/contact to read displayed message.
