Resources for data science eduation #34

I've posted some on the README, I would love to list more directly relevant resources, e.g. an instructor wants to teach data science, what should be on their reading list. This is an open call to reply with more resources to the issue, and I'll move them to the README list.

@mine-cetinkaya-rundel Thanks for sharing your materials 😄 . We've created materials to teach data science here: https://github.com/memphis-iis/datawhys-content-notebooks

These are under active development, but currently:

  • About 40 Jupyter notebooks
  • More of an ML orientation
  • In Python
  • Designed to work with blocks-based programming using our JupyterLab extension

To see more about the extension, here are a short video and a long video.

I plan to make a similar block extension for R but that will probably be in 2021.
