Something simple like GitHub's reactions could be neat.

Yes! I think this would be cool.

I had created a duplicate of this issue #658 because there were past requests for this feature on both comments and announcements. 👍, I think this would be a fun feature!

I have started spiking this out on a branch. @aledustet and I are going to take some time next week to outline a project around this consisting of multiple issues. @germsvel we will keep you in the loop

It’d be great to get more detail in this issue, perhaps a job-to-be-done story. It’s currently describing a solution and doesn’t clarify what problem we’re hoping to solve.

@tysongach I'd love to chat if you have some time and hear your thoughts on this. I've been meaning to fill this issue out more - I just haven't gotten around to it yet. The idea originates from the two Trello cards referenced in #658, which are quite old, which is why @aledustet and I were looking to lay out what this might look like and what would be involved.

@aledustet maybe you can provide a bit more color around the work here / if there is a spike somewhere for it?

@brimatteng will and I did a couple of pairing sessions with german a year or so ago, but I don't remember it amounting to anything.

@aledustet cool. I didn't see any open PR's for it or recent branches. It's a cool idea
