Is there a way that when we are clicked into full screen view, to have an [x] at the top right for those who are on mobile / tablets and don't see the cursor so they can exit the image without getting confused as to how?

It does, question is - how do we identify touch devices? Or more precisely no-mouse devices?

Media queries?
Modernizr check?
Listening on touch events?

Perhaps a simple solution would be to [optionally] include a small instruction on top of the overlay, saying something like "drag to move, click to close".

Maybe there could be an option that turn on/off the [X] button. When the [X] button is on, the touch-to-close is off.
