Note the original intent here was that magic folders could exist in the /assets/ directory. /assets/my_orange_plugin/ would point to the /assets/ folder in that orange plugin... but what if you wanted to have an actual folder called /assets/my_orange_plugin? Now it seems silly that you'd ever worry about that kind of naming overlap, as most plugins will be prefixed by orange- or named something fairly unique, and current orange convention has us placing assets in /assets/public/ anyway.
Do asset modules need to have underscores around them? Seems like extra, unnecessary magic.
