You can use your gmail account.

1st: create an app password : https://myaccount.google.com/apppasswords
2nd : Fill your .env, where MAIL_PASSWORD is your app_password and MAIL_USER your full gmail email

That's a good idea but you can't even register if there's no mail setting, it just say "An error occurred" when trying to sign up.
