This board is not supported by VIA because it's not listed in https://www.caniusevia.com/docs/supported_keyboards.

Are there any plans to support it?

Are there any plans to support it?

Should be asking Keychron that.

On their official page for the C1 Pro, about 1/4 down the page, Keychron wrote the following:

Since the VIA code for the C1 Pro is still awaiting approval from Github, it is not yet automatically recognized.

Is there some kind of deadlock here with both sides waiting for a response from the other?

@jpjonte, I want to be sure. You're talking about the regular C1, right?

@adophoxia no, I'm talking about the C1 Pro. I see now that this issue is about the C1.
But as far as I can tell that keyboard doesn't support VIA in the first place: https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-c1-wired-mechanical-keyboard
