Due to limitations of our full text index, you often have to type the full item ID before results appear for your search. We should try to set up an n-gram based index instead.

For a bit more detail on points where this catches me, my samples are often labelled with something like [crsID][cathode material][discharge current]_[date], for example lb***_sigracet_100mAg_240319, which I then make the cell ID in datalab. It would be useful if I could search 240319 and have the cells from that day come up, but as it is that does not work. Not a huge issue and can be worked around by putting the date in the cell name rather than just the ID, but would be nice to have the search work a bit more intuitively.

This would be useful to have (sometimes the ids or chemical names are long)
