Description

It appears the BAS burst mode appears to have some issues. Not sure the BR64 one. I've had similar issues with the AR-12H.

Essentially, it generates null when spotting xenos (1st picture), and it stops firing after the first burst, like described by that cat poster. I've tested it by standing in front of a BAS with AR burst, got shot, moved away, and now the sentry is just growling at me with its alarm noise.

I can also confirm the issue reloading it, even when in hand, or with tactical reloads. Just plain doesn't work.
However, grabbing it, shooting it in hand and putting it back down seemed to fix that issue.

Test Merges

BYOND Version: 515.1630
Server revision compiled on: 2024-03-27
Master commit: 0cbab5a4f28b88e3592f386198e834ef2106f0ca

Reproduction Steps

  1. Make a BAS sentry with burst mode
  2. Get a xeno to be shot at it.
  3. (Maybe optionnal) Have the xeno walk away during a burst
  4. Try to reload it, or have it shoot at a xeno. Fail.
