Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Not necessarily a problem, but would potentially be more flexible and allow more options for auth, in addition to utilizing the modern api.

Describe the solution you'd like
Update the azure portion of the code to utilize the newer go module tooling + add support for DefaultAzureCredential
