it may fix this issue following 'Manage Docker as a non-root user' in https://docs.docker.com/engine/installation/linux/linux-postinstall/

@baofengsun It doesn't fix the issue.

I'm having the same issue. The command: "npm run deployNetwork" seems to be causing the issue.

Failed at the getting-started@1.0.0 deployNetwork script 'composer archive create --sourceName digitalproperty-network --sourceType module --archiveFile digitalPropertyNetwork.bna && composer network deploy --archiveFile digitalPropertyNetwork.bna -p defaultProfile -i admin -s adminpw && composer network list -n digitalproperty-network -i admin -s adminpw'.

OS: Ubuntu 16.04.2 (64 bit)
Node: v6.9.5
NPM: 4.4.4

@baofengsun - that did fix the issue for me. Now that I got the docker group membership fixed AND I restarted my Ubuntu system, now the npm install works

Uninstall the Node.js in Panel Control and Delete the pasta

C:\Users\Youuser\AppData\Roaming\npm-cache

After install the Node.js
