Bugs with text magnets #193
Comments
I have figured out that typing a formula, say |
Dear all, thank you for your comments. I am unable to reproduce this bug. Maybe it depends on the browser? Maybe it depends on something else? I usually use Firefox, but I was also unable to reproduce the bug on Chrome. |
Here's a screencast showing the bug. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1uiA4NXlkBsThesmnt7rjKVwzt4IKv_Wo/view?usp=sharing For some reason, this time it was difficult to reproduce it, I only got it on like 6th try with the formula |
And another screencast https://drive.google.com/file/d/18yyNKSOJalC7a4fxkDvJtWZAm7HuSa0f/view?usp=sharing. Sorry, I don't know how to reproduce the bug in a stable way. |

Thank you @philip-bl! |
This particular bug with the "space" only occurs on FIrefox! Not in Chrome! |
Congratulation @philip-bl for having found an explanation to that bug! |
Now concerning the deletion of LaTEX magnet, I think it is related to the fact that the inner MathJAX content takes the focus, instead of the magnet itself. It is related I think to the issue mathjax/MathJax#1423 |
Sometimes, when I type in a latex formula, say,$x=2$ , and hit ESC, it does not render any latex equation; but the text remains $x=2$ . On the same occurrence, by focusing on the magnet and hitting DEL, I wasn't able to delete it. I was able to move that magnet but not delete it.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
