Alternative to Firebase?

Is it possible to Configure sharedrop with a selfhosted database alternative?

MongoDB?, CouchDB?, PostgreSQL?

I would prefer to have everything inhouse / selfhosted instead of depending on Firebase.

If so, are there any instructions out there for that?

I haven't tried it but you might be able to use supabase.
It is an open-source postgres-based alternative to firebase and has realtime features as well. Hope this helps.
