  • Sway Version: 1.9

  • Distro: Arch Linux

  • Configuration File: ~/.config/sway/config

swaynag successfully spawns a warning bar at the bottom of my screen (as configured) when issuing reload bindsym with syntax errors in Sway's main config file.

    # WORKING EXAMPLE
    swaynag_command swaynag --type='warning' --layer='overlay' --edge='bottom' --button-dismiss='test'

    swaynag-3

However, if --button-dismiss argument is absent, the bar type is wrongfully error instead of warning

    # REPRODUCIBLE PROBLEM
    swaynag_command swaynag --type='warning' --layer='overlay' --edge='bottom'

    swaynag-4
