FR Extract range to new note should insert wikilink #582

I'm not sure what's your usage pattern, but when I want a selection to be factored out to a new note it's usually because I'm replacing it with a link to this new note, as in the "extract to function" coding pattern.

Hi @memeplex, sounds like a reasonable FR, would you like to contribute? It could be also made optional whether it should insert a wikilink or not by adding a flag to settings.

+1 for this feature.

Currently I'm actually doing this "extract to function" pattern manually when working with markdown. Would be a nice time saver if it can be automated. 😄

I can't believe it's almost a year. It doesn't look like I'll be able to get back and work on this feature any time soon, unfortunately. Sorry about that. Hopefully, someone else can have fun and play with it.

I use the memo extension daily and appreciate it very much. Thank you @svsool !
I'll keep an eye on the repo, and hopefully at some other time I can contribute back again in the future.
