Authenticating a user on watchOS with auth from react native

Hey guys, I'm currently working on a react native app which uses a companion watchOS app. I am wondering if someone can give me any advice on how to successfully authenticate a user on the apple watch with an already authenticated account from the react native side. I can currently pass the userID and auth session, but there doesnt seem to be a way to authenticate a user with any of these using the client libraries?? How would achieve this?
