Edge Functions || 500 Error: {OPTIONS: CORS} & {POST: BAD_URI} || Happens for some time after deploying then normal

Hey everyone.

Lately I am dealing with some strange issues that are greatly slowing down my development time.

When I deploy my function(s) to Supabase they momentarily (>5 Minutes) are broken with the OPTION request returning a CORS errors, and then the POST request returning a BAD_URI error.

I don't see any similar posts so I am trying to understand what's going on here. This started happening once I started using anonymous sign-ins & moved responsibilities onto Edge Functions and make a number of queries to the Database (not realtime). These responsibilities include retrieving the Authorization parameter in the header.

The request hangs, and then the errors are thrown. There are no indications of anything in the logs

After a random amount of time the functions begin to work as expected.

Note the long request time. This is the only indication I have. No logs, only an OPTIONS invocation
