An issue to capture the ask for building native binaries during release. The following platforms are planned to be supported:

  • Linux (x86_64)
  • macOS (x86_64, arm64)
  • Windows (x86_64)

Additional context

There are a few actions which have already been defined that just need testing and refining. The following are relevant:

Realistically, caching needs to be implemented to speed up the build process before I would want to include this in the release process.
