Additional note: With this routing table:
the ping is NOT working. If I remove the default route from the VRF routing table:
then the ping works fine.
Any hint to fix that behaviour? thanks! |

Hello,
I am experimenting with VTI interfaces into VRF.
I am using this script as "leftupdown":
When the peer connects, the interface is created and enslaved to the VRF:
However, I am not able to ping neither from the strongswan host, neither from the other host.
If I start a tcpdump on the vti interface, I see the full packet flow. However, the other host never receives the "answer".
If I remove the VRF information (so, no VRF in use), then everything works fine:
(so we can exclude a configuration issue on Strongswan or on the other end)
Am I doing some wrong configuration on the VRF side, or I encountered a "bug"?
I'm using Strongswan 5.7.2 on Linux 5.4.105.
thanks!
Stefano
