When stratisd is left down for a while, filesystem sometimes can't unmount

I'm seeing some bizarre behavior on Fedora 38 where stopping stratisd for some time, forgetting about a set up filesystem and then later trying to unmount the filesystem gives EBUSY. The most bizarre part of this is that logging out and logging back in on Fedora Workstation appears to resolve the problem. @bmr-cymru Does this sound like a desktop environment-related issue given the workaround?
