Text focus is lost when new message is received

I'm not sure if this has already been posted, I have looked around the open issues and it doesn't seem to be listed. I am sorry if this is a duplicate.

The issue is that when typing a message, if any message is received in any conversation, the focus on the text field is lost, and typing is interrupted. This makes it very hard to use group chats, and usually a lot of messages are being sent simultaneously.

I'll most likely have a look at it this weekend.
