Nominatim Search not working

I am trying to add the nominatim search plugin to my leaflet, but I cannot get it to work: I always get "undefined" as a result.
I checked example online and I get the same problem. Maybe it is due to some version update ?
I am using leaflet 1.9.4, on the sample I see 1.3.0 and the result is the same.

Same here with Firefox 115.10. But previous release works fine.
