[enhancement] Avoid overlap of lines and legend areas when aligning timeline

Just like in the image below, when aligning the timeline, the drawn line may be covered by the legend area. Perhaps we can find some way to avoid this, like adjusting the position of the legend area (possibly moving to the right bottom corner in this case).
