merging method dip with param 0.5 #280

in the parameter file, I've chosen the merging_method = dip and merging_param=0.5
but in the figures, it says thr=1, what is this value refer to if not merging_param? it seems it is the merging_param since clusters with d>0.5 have been merged. such as the screenshot:
