Issue Description

Could be useful to have a page where the compatibility for third-party plugins and Spyder versions is tracked (similar to the information for spyder-kernels version vs Spyder version)

Where is the relevant portion of the documentation located?

Unexisting page

What would you suggest it be replaced with?

New doc page, maybe under de Spyder plugins section

Other information

  • Is the problem specific to documentation for a particular version of Spyder?

No

  • Are you planning on submitting a Github pull request with a suitable change?

Not sure

  • Anything else you'd like to add?

No

Good idea. Do you mean our first-party plugins (Spyder-Notebook, Spyder-Unittest, etc)? If so, this could be included as a table in the Plugins index page, which would also be useful to link to each plugin (even the ones not currently documented) and perhaps briefly summarize its purpose.

Thinking about this it could be nice to have a list of external plugins in fact (including does that could be around but we don't maintain directly). However having at least the external plugins we maintain could work too 👍
