I'm Tit Petric, I'm from Slovenia. I'm working at Tyk, and contribute to open source. I'm currently working on:

Accepting sponsorships is as much an experiment as a necessity. Some people care about some things, and these things don't always overlap with your vision. It's harder saying no sometimes for good reason, rather to step into a contract where this choice is taken away.

I pledge,

• to engineer the projects to the highest quality standards,
• to abandon what is deprecated, resolve what is vulnerable,
• to iterate the solution - what do users need,
• to cotribute to the ecosystem (financial, PRs).

Working under such criteria is time consuming and exhaustive. Hopefully there is interest enough in some of my projects, that i am able to dedicate some of my time to supporting and growing them or turn them into viable businesses in time.

As for your sponsorship - I afraid I'm going to be boring here, no jets, lambos, or jachts - I'll likely get taxed on it somewhat and try to save anything for some of my todolist on the life side of the work/life balance. It's likely some will go towards possible hosting costs or other project needs, but my biggest cost is time.
