I create and maintain open-source, machine-readable semantic models built from a variety of interoperability standards. Domains include the smart electrical grid, where a semantic version of the ASHRAE 201 standard (FSGIM - Facility Smart Grid Information Model) is available. Another is a model incorporating a half-dozen smart grid standards to support dynamic electricity pricing, from work that was originally supported by the California Energy Commission.

Featured work

  1. steveraysteveray/epic-public

The collection of semantic models, SPIN rules, and SPARQLMotion scripts supporting transactive energy and dynamic pricing of electricity.

    Python 4
  2. steveraysteveray/fsgim-shacl

The FSGIM ontology (created from ASHRAE standard 201), expressed in SHACL

  3. steveraysteveray/fsgim-owl

This is an OWL implementation of the ANSI/ASHRAE/NEMA Standard 201-2016, commonly known as FSGIM (Facility Smart Grid Information Model)

  4. steveraysteveray/fsgim-owlTesting

A project to explore the use of SPIN rules for conformance testing of the FSGIM standard (ASHRAE SPC201)

  5. steveraysteveray/epic-schemas

Core schemas supporting dynamic facility energy management and pricing of electricity

Basic, feelgood support for having open-source interoperability standards available as semantic models.
