Hi, I'm Nate!

I am an alumni software engineer of both @microsoft and @aws. I started doing open-source coding in college. I worked on the .NET Core project (@dotnet) at @microsoft from 2014 to 2019. My most visible projects on GitHub started in this time. I've since moved on to other things, but I still maintain my open source projects in my free time.

My projects:

  • CommandLineUtils - command line parsing API for .NET Core. It has NuGet Downloads on NuGet.org and counting!
  • LettuceEncrypt - free, automatic HTTPS (SSL/TLS) certificates for .NET Core web apps using the Let's Encrypt certificate authority
  • DotNetCorePlugins - an API for simplifying dynamic code loading in .NET apps
  • dotnet-serve - a simple command line tool to start a HTTP server
