Hello,

My name is Lev Gelfenbuim. I work and live in Israel.

I have worked as a software engineer in Israeli hi-tech companies, primarily start-ups, for the past 12 years. It is my pleasure to make my debut as a member of the founding team of tastewise.io.

As part of my day-to-day job, I primarily work with JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, AWS, GCP, Azure, and many other technologies. I began my software engineering career by coding in C#, WPF, WCF, ASP.NET, C++ and Java. Over time, I have become proficient at developing Angular, React, and Vue-based web applications.

My first book, Web Testing with Cypress, was recently published worldwide by a major publishing company.

My spare time is spent learning about ethical hacking, pentesting, and other geeky things.

Although I enjoy my job, I find developing for the open-source community to be equally exciting as working for a start-up. Funding would inspire me to create more for the community.
