I make other kind of apps like moviestills, a Go app to download high-quality movie snapshots.
Not open source but I'm also the developer and maintainer of whattemovie.com, a movie-quiz game with more than 70,000 users and 500,000 images where people have to guess the title of the movie from which the image was taken.
There is an extension to this website called @whattheshot, a Twitter bot that reproduces the same quiz game but on a social network.
