GouldCS

Welcome to GouldCS, my GitHub profile. You'll find a bunch of lovely code and helpful resources here, so stick around! Maybe grab a coffee.

Who Am I?

Greetings, my name is Cameron Gould, I was born in Bellevue, WA, and raised in the small town of McMinnville, OR. I'm currently working towards my bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Loyola Marymount University. On the side, I contribute to the development of two startup React Native apps and maintain a React.js site for a game development studio.

What I Do

On the side, I enjoy developing free educational resources that anyone can access and use. I've gone through the college system and certainly disliked the price barrier. I don't think anyone should be paying that much for education, and CS concepts can be easily learned online. Most platforms I've tried online are rather boring, though. They lack personality. That's where I hope my version of online education can shine.

Why Sponsorship Matters

Sponsorship is important because all of my content is being developed for free. Time spent creating this content is time spent not putting food on the table. I currently hold no development position that is paid. All of my positions are with young startups that I personally believe in and want to help grow. Your sponsorship would help a great deal. Any sponsorship that I feel is excessive will be donated to The Clouded Leopard Project to help the conservation of Clouded Leopards.

@gouldcs

My goal is to reach 10 sponsors to show that my free educational resources are effective and well-valued πŸ˜ƒ
