I love Irish pubs, and more particularly, good beer. I usually go out for a beer during the weekend. Some times, I also take the chance to have a beer when I'm crashing my head against a the monitor trying to solve a specific problem. Most of the times, when I get back from the pub, the solution to the problem becomes clear to me.
In other words, this sponsorship ensures me some good time in front of a nice Irish beer. This definitely boosts my creativity!

You might think that coding software is free. Well, think again. While coding random software is actually free, it's not the case if you want to provide high quality software to the community. For instance, when coding libraries for IoT devices, I need to buy such devices to debug/test and to implement the automatic-testing laboratory. When someone sends a PR to my repo, a build pipeline is triggered and, if it succeeds, then the automatic test is run on some physical devices I own. Such devices also need power
This sponsorship ensures I can buy some more tools/hardware to support debugging and automated builds.

Sometimes people build their software on top the plugins/libraries I've coded. While I release most of the software under free licenses (also for commercial use), companies (and pro developers) are welcomed to provide their financial support. All the funds collected in this way are re-invested on my computer hardware / storage system that makes my environment more reliable and stable.
This sponsorship motivates me and helps me keeping my workstation up to date with the latest pc hardware.
