I created, and now maintain, several .NET packages, including Bullseye, SimpleExec, and MinVer.

To maintain these packages, I spend several hours each month doing things like:

  • Addressing feature requests
  • Answering questions
  • Fixing reported bugs
  • Sending pull requests to projects which use my packages, to get them on the latest versions
  • Updating tests to use the latest .NET SDK
  • Updating dependencies
  • Policing white space, to satisfy my OCD
