Hey, I'm Andi from Germany, currently studying Computer Science at the Technical University of Munich.

I'm part of the Homebridge team, which is the maintainer of of the homebridge project. Homebridge a user-friendly way of setting up a HomeKit bridge with access to a wide arrange of community driven plugins adding HomeKit support for hundreds of IoT devices. Those plugins can bring HomeKit support to device which otherwise would have never received HomeKit capabilities.
I'm currently the active maintainer of the HAP-NodeJS library (and all of its components like ciao, which is the fundamental core powering homebridge. Consequentially I'm heavily involved reverse engineering the latest and greatest features added to HomeKit so everybody can experience HomeKit in the best possible way.

Any funds received will go towards further improving HAP-NodeJS (and thus the homebridge platform in general). This goes from buying some coffee (supporting all the long nights of coding) to buying actual Hardware (like HomeKit certified accessories).
