Hey! I'm Keith Simmons (Kethku) and I work on developer tooling both for my day job and at home.

I wrote Neovide with the help of some amazing contributors. I think Vim is an amazing tool for editing text, but it suffers from some rough edges. I think good editor features can help with those issues and can make Vim more approachable. Things like an animated cursor and some carefully crafted usability tweaks that I've been working on in Neovide go a long way toward that goal.

If you find Neovide or any of my other projects useful, I'd really appreciate even a small contribution! It helps me buy hardware to keep working on and testing my projects and motivates me to keep hacking on them despite the wall of issues ;) I think we've got a good thing going, and your donation helps me target and keep on track.

If I can get $500 a month, then I will feel comfortable purchasing dedicated hardware for testing and supporting mac and linux platforms more effectively. Currently Neovide is supported on those platform through the generous testing of contributors. I would like to encourage and reward some of those contributors by purchasing dedicated hardware for them to test with and use.
