Ohai there! Thanks for clicking through. It's wonderful to see you here.

I'm Eion from Christchurch, New Zealand. I really really love working on 3rd party plugins for Pidgin (an instant messenger), just for fun in my spare time. I started writing plugins and open-source code back in 2004 with the idea that "if it helps me, it'll help someone else" and I get a real thrill in hearing from everyone who says that something I've worked on has helped made their lives easier/faster/better. I hope you can all pay it forwards too, and share your own code or projects to the world, and help out others.

So please do let me know if there's something I'm doing that's helped you, or if there's something I can code to make your life more betterrer (that's totally a real word btw) - can't promise that I'll have the spare time to do it, but I'm always willing to have a chat about it, or lurk on an issue tracker or irc channel or two to give advice.

I already have a day job that pays the bills, but if you're wanting to say a little "thanks" for what I've built, I won't say no to a bit of something to help brighten my day. I promise to only use any sponsorship money for increasing dopamine levels (aka fun things that bring joy): frivolously wasting it on a really nice cup of coffee, or a game I've always wanted to try out but never had the spare monies to throw at.
