Hi 👋,

I'm Hugo. I'm primarily an evolutionary biologist but I fell in love with R and package development during my PhD. Now, my main goal is to produce software that can be used by other researchers, rather than do research myself.

Sadly, positions of research software developer are still scarce and all of the packages (and other repositories) you can see on my personal GitHub account have been developed on my own free time.

I'd appreciate some support so I can dedicate more time to developing software for research. I believe this is absolutely crucial for the future of scientific research and surely a very worthwhile investment for you if you use one of my packages.
