Test with later versions of Kubernetes and update quickstart accordingly

The 'Quickstart for Kubernetes' document says 'The steps in this guide have been tested on these Kubernetes versions: 1.13.1, 1.12.4, and 1.10.12.' All these versions are some years out of date.
I just ran the instructions on Kubernetes 1.23, and they worked just fine. So it doesn't seem like there are any real issues to address here - just the need to bring the docs up to date for current Kubernetes versions.
