"save" widget visibility on dashboard

Currently, analysts can customize widget visibility by clicking on the gears at the upper right hand part of the dashboard screen. However, these always reset when the dashboard is reloaded. Some of these widgets are more helpful/interesting than others, and I would like to be able to select which show up on my dashboard. This could show up under settings, or possibly as a "save" button on the "customize widget visibility" drop-down screen.
