Prompt is slow in git directories

Current behavior

I just made a clean install of spaceship and realized that, in git directories, the prompt is slower than expected.

Expected behavior
the prompt needs to load faster in git directories

I've used spaceship before it was awesome and all was working great. Now that I did a clean linux install and decided to use the prompt again, it seems to be really slow in git direcotories.

I found that I needed to disable the git status display. It does a ton of greps which I believe is why it's so slow. I'm sure there's a much better way to condense it.

I noticed slowness too, I set SPACESHIP_GIT_STATUS_SHOW=false but this didn't change performance for me. What worked was hiding the Node.js version by setting SPACESHIP_NODE_SHOW=false and the prompt is back to fast again.

FWIW I use asdf-vm for Node installs, and I also use Oh-My-ZSH plugins for it. I'm using Node v16 in case that is a suspect too.

We're working on async rendering that should solve performance issues by executing git checks in a parallel process.

I had this issue and it was b/c I had git-crypt unlocked
