SWQL Studio Does Not Display Output When Using NCM #341

Hi,

I have been using SWQL studio for quite some time, but I have never been able to get any queries that utilize NCM to work. Any query that is directly run within SWQL studio will only show the column headers. However, if I was to use SolarWinds GUI -> Add Report ->and input the same exact query - then it works and output is showing as expected.

I found a corresponding THWACK post that seems to highlight the same issue, but no fix. I also opened up a case directly with SolarWinds, who had suggested that I re-install the SDK. Obviously, no difference.

Any input is appreciated.

Hi there, OP for the linked Thwack post here.

I suspect there's something in the database that causes this condition based on some of the discussion in the thread. One of the posters talked about modifying the NCM_Nodes view in the database, but I was not brave enough to mess with that personally. My issue did eventually resolve itself, but I am still not sure what specifically solved it.

Mine is presently working again and I am on version 2023.2.0, and I believe it was also working when I was on 2020.2.6, but I'm not sure when it was fixed exactly. If this is coming up for you in the same versions, then I think that's more evidence that it's caused by a condition in the database.
